Mike, you must be in denial like a lot of Hellraisers cheerleaders on the internet, or only hear one side of a story.
I drove the TTViper against this silver Vette- I watched him move(he jumped out 1-2 cars) and then I rolled around him until we came up on traffic. If there was no traffic I would have had 5-10 cars on him by 180mph.
I drove the TTG against this silver Vette . I raced the TTG the previous weekend, we raced it over 20 times with a modified clutch. I raced the car at 1050rwhp because I was having clutch issues while tuning it the day before the DvH event. I didnt need more than 1050rwhp to put BUS lengths on EVERYONE we raced from Houston/Dallas event. All these so called 1500hp cars were getting embarrased. When I lined up next to SW, I knew he was making close to 1200hp or more so I turned it up and just prayed the clutch would hold. Well, I was ahead of him in 1,2,3 gear and when I went into 4th, the clutch would not hold the power I put at it. No big deal, thats racing. The following weekend was my birthday so Joel being the nice customer he is let me take my wife to dinner in his Lambo. I keep getting calls that the same silver vette wanted to race. Even with the clutch not working under full power, I lined up next to him with the boost controller turned down just so I didnt gernade the clutch on (850hp). AGAIN , he stole the move(2cars) and I came around him in 4th gear.
If you think your G-force built vette runs door to door to a Twin Turbo Lamborghini I built or even a Twin Turbo Viper I tuned, I am sure my customer would be glad to line up next to this one or any other street car you think can hang with. And since your customer doesnt put $ on the line, why dont you and I make a side bet?
Chris with the silver vette has always been nice to my face and I applaud him for actually burning rubber in Mexico like a lot of my customers do. Chris-you have a great running car, but trust me when I tell you and your bully friend you are NO WHERE NEAR THE KING OF ROLL RACING IN TEXAS.
I am going back to work, I will let the performance of my customer rides speak for themselves.

There is a reason I stay away from the childish keyboard talk so I will only make one post regarding this thread. I build cars for a living. What my customers choose to do with them is completely up to them. I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO GET ANY WORK DONE IF I SCROLLED THE INTERNET ALL DAY LOOKING TO FIND POSTS ABOUT MY CUSTOMERS RACING OR EVEN JUST TALKING ABOUT THERE CARS. SORRY I AM TOO BUSY FOR THAT.

Dont really know how to reply to that.
Guess we will stick to building reliable and dependable combos that arnt the fastest out there.
Why havent you upgraded the clutch in the lambo?

guys no need in getting in to a pissing match over a fun run. maybe we need a rematch with clean run etc. This is not about who's shop is better or who's builds better and faster cars.they are all nice fast cars.

I am sure LMR has quite a few customers that drive around in there" reliable and dependable combos that are not the fastest out there", but they sure dont make threads on forums full of big headed vette owners claiming to be otherwise. Anyway, I am a firm believer that Thornhill in a 1/4 mile dual will crack anyone that has chimed in yet. Bet??
