Idle Issue

I recently had a fresh motor put in and car is Ideling kind of high takes it a while to come down when I come to a stop. I just wanted to see if someone know someone that would idle the car down. Or know someone that would. Please help.

Check for Vaccum leaks. Did you have any mods added to the new set up? If so you may have to get the car tuned.

yuppers what Bad chad said .... Give us some more details on your set up and if anything changed .. If you got more mods done to your car the Air Flow tables couldve been jepordized on the tune. Could be a vacuum leak , or maybe IAC , or MAF issues ..

went from 5.7 to 6.0 the check eng. light was on so I stopped by the local autozone they said the TPS sensor and the MAF were out going to pick them up when I get off of work I hope that Fixes the issue.

Make sure they are both plugged in. The maf on your car has an adaptor harness, make sure its not damaged and is plugged in. Any issues call me.

Make sure your getting plenty of air to the motor.
Iac,maf.
Really sounds like your in need of a tuner/scanner.
depending on your location I know of 2 tuners that can help you.

ok guys looking for some help me and my turner are getting into it. And I cant find any answers anywhere! I jut did a motor build and he tuned my car before everything went fine I ended up having to replace the pcm and alternator. So he retuned it and it is idleing around 1800 to 2000 and then it calms down then start idleing high again. Any suggestions on what it could be? i also am having a misfire?
