Default Is there a way to test a MAF off the car?

The reason I ask is because I have two 85mm MAF's from when I had my T/A and I'm not 100% sure they work. I'd like to sell them since I don't ever plan on using them but I want to make sure they're good first.

Yeah but I can't remember which wires are which. You need a power/ground source and a
Multimeter. I THINK it was Jimmy Blue who tested the flow with one off the car with a leaf blower.

as far as i'm aware, there is no way to accurately test a maf off the car. the leaf blower idea will give a reading, but it doesn't mean its correct. sometimes the hot wires will get jacked up and throw everything off

Jake is correct. You can see if it "works" but, a bad maf will still work just give an inaccurate reading.

Thanks for the replies. I kind of figured there wouldn't be an accurate way of testing them but it was worth a shot.
