If you're doing it on the ground, jack the car up as high as you're jack will take it.

If you think it's high enough, it's not. You may want to add some 2x4's on top of the jack to allow the car to be jacked up high enough. The driver side header almost needs to go in vertically. Most importantly, be patient.

if im not mistaken you need to lift the car like 18 to 24 inches from the floor so jack up the car put the jack stands and then jack it up with 2x4 so u can raise it more you could also lift the motor a bit so it can be easier

These people are right when they say Jack the car up HIGH! But be sure to use plenty of support for it, Jackstands on all four corners and Shake the car before you get under it. You will be wrestling with it a lot, and the last thing you want is for it to fall on you.

get a pair of dikes and cut a slot into the first and last header bolt hole on the gasket. when you get the header in place, loosely thread the 1st and last bolt. Then you can slide the header gasket in from the top. this method is 110% easier then trying to hold the gasket with one hand and the header with another while trying to align the header gasket, etc.

if they're paper gaskets throw them in the trash. either re-use the factory MLS gasket or go to the dealership and get a new set.

I appreciate the help I need some more advice. I'm trying to get these damned spark plug boots off on the passenger side and they aren't budging. We've got all of them off except #1, 5, & 7

factory ones are a bitch b/c of the metal heat shield they put them in. just dont pull on the wire itself! just try and grab the heat shield and wrestle it out.
