Doesnt he have a 345 on his car? That doesnt seem very limited to me.

You want a wide tire or a tall tire? 26" tall tires suck. A 295 28" tall tire will dominate a 345 26" tire

Not sure. I know I went one size up to a 255 on Kristen's GTO and that's about all you can fit without rolling/cutting!

So you are saying he can run a 345-30-18 but not a 345-35-18? Has it even been tried to fit 345-35-18 on his car?

As far getting traction its not all about tires. There are other things he can do with his car to get traction working.

I understand sidewall.. the sidewall is a % of the aspect ratio. 345 = aspect ratio.

345-30-18 = a 103.5 mm tall sidewall
345-35-18 = a 120.75 mm tall sidewall

Like I said, has it even been tried to put the bigger tire on? The MT 345-35-18 is 28" tire. Next thing is I am pretty sure he has a eboost2 on the car. Why isnt boost by gear setup to get max per gear without spinning?

I'm not sure. I just know when you do what they did to the tubyou lose a but of clearance. Jeremy likes the way it looks how it is though. I would be surprised if the car ever sees a good tire. Good tire meaning on a 15" rim not an 18.

Btw the second number is the aspect ratio not the first

I run 275/40/17 everything's stock! Drag bags and you should be able to run 275/60/15.

Guess the smaller turbos with better wheel fit that motor much better and the ball bearings spooled faster making more power across the board. I had a similar thing happen when I tried 60mm twins vs 70mm twins on my mild sbc. 70's were down on power. Took 2-3psi more to match trap speeds the 60's would do, but the 60's went faster in the 1/8 mile and ET was alittle better because of that.

Nice combo, alot of power!

the 345/35/18 MT is a good tire. I put down well over 900rw on them in 2nd gear with my old Viper. If Jeremy won't use a 15" wheel that is his best bet

Jeremys a good friend of mine so I feel comfortable saying this. He won't race it at that power level. Nor does he need to be.

This is what I've always said about high hp cars and not having a tire to use all the power, but I guess im different. I would hate to build a car with **** ton of power and not enjoy it like it was built for. JMO To each's own..
