not really apples to apples since the WG pressure was increased to bring on the boost faster. i would ASSume that's why the old turbos never made any power early. i mean look at that linear tq line on the old turbos..... boost was coming in sllllllllllllllooooow.

something just doesn't seem right with your old turbos, I have bigger ones.. TC76s, with 0.81 A/R with a smaller motor, 427, and they spool more like your new turbos do, and never drop off, climbs all the way to 7500...
