I only caught the end part of the cops being there last night but one of the officers took a few of our numbers because he wants to set up a charity meet at Rowlett High School.
I am definately down to do a charity meet.
Also it wouldn't hurt if we made a good name for ourselves with the Rowlett PD lol.

Which part isn't a good idea? The phone number?
If that is what you meant, i'm not worried about it. I'm in their system already and it's a work cell number.
And if we are going to continue to have meets in random parking lots it's good for them to know we aren't simply up to no good so I didn't see it as a bad idea. However if you see an angle i'm not seeing about the charity event or whatever i'm all ears.

Well you guys all have decals. Lets say you guys do get involved with them, they will remember your CC name. At least half of the people at the meets like to go to Mexico. It could take just 1 person to ruin the good reputation that you are hoping to get by them.

We will keep everyone posted when the grapevine meet will be back might wait intill spring so it can warm up last time we went out there there was about 30 of us and 25 or so came from Dallas and only 5 came from that area but we will be doing another grapevine meet and i hope to meet yall sometime so we have a FB that is way more active then our forum join up on there it gets crazy at times!!

I wasn't very active last year with GMU due to some financial hardships but this year is starting to look a lot better for me so I should be in attendance for more events.. id love to do something for Autism as my wife and I just found out that our 2yr old son has a form of it...

Last week, I past by the old spot at the sports bar, but wasn't a problem since I was on that side of town. I might head out to check out the new spot, this time around. Glad I checked this thread before heading out to the old spot again lol. I'll be coming from Coppell area.
