EXCEPTION RULE FOR STREET LEGAL WARRIORS

HMP will allow each racer in this class to have ONE rule exception per car to certain rules. Racer may use their exception to any ONE ITEM from the rules as follows.

If that same car was also missing a rear seat, then they would need to correct either the wipers or the rear seat in order to compete.

All other parts of the rules apply as they are written.

Street racing is not drag racing.

Houston Motorsports Park has become more than just a place to race, it’s a great meeting place,
a weekly social gathering with rumbling motors and spinning tires as part of the ambiance …
It’s a part of the community.

I will have to look at the dates but I think March 17th is the 1st race for this year. I'm building a street car to run in this class.

We definally need more F-bodies running in this class to keep the Mustang boys heads from blowing up too much.

Sounds very interesting.
Wonder why they dont allow alky/meth but race fuel is permitted?
Its more common to stop at vatozone before a race and get a gallon jug of windshield eiper fluid, than fill up with 3-4 gallons of race gas. My guess is it would bother people who run meth injection in there car.
Sounds like it should bring out alot of folks.

I think they meant no achohol or methanol cars as a source of fuel..not as an additives..

I think they are wanting to keep the class in the 5.80-6.20 range, anything faster they are going to put them in the Street outlaw class.

They want to keep the class going, if you have 2-3 cars in the 5.50 range it will kill the class for the slower guys
