Default Rear end shop
Anyone know of any shops that will just reshim the rear end in my car? I just replaces the differential and have everything back together now but it's whining extremely loudly. All I want to do is reshim...

I called and asked them yesterday to do it and they said they would charge $800 because they "usually don't just reshim" rear ends and they would just rebuild the entire thing again...

If you cant do it yourself then I recommend Pyle Brothers in Baytown

Yea I just ended up taking it there anyways... getting some 3.73's throw in it as well.

There is a guy in Baytown that is a friend of mine and worked there for years. He does it on the side and I will try to find his number for you.
