Default Finally got another LSX vehicle!

Actually an LY5 if I'm not mistaken, but whatever they call it I like it! It's an '08 Texas Edition Sierra w/ 38k and is in really great shape. Can't wait to start tinkering with it! Any suggestions for exhaust, mild cam, heads, wheels, etc?

Thanks!

Drop it, long tubes, TDs, and nothing much bigger than say a 224 if you wanna tow much with it. I want one of those but in a RCSB.

I don't care what anyone says, I'd put a good 6.5-7" lift on it...

17x9 Mickey Thompson Classic II with some 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers...

Looks 2wd to me? I don't see any 4x4 or Z71 stickers. Slam that sucker lol.

Yeah, 2wd. Dropping it is definitely an option, but that will depend on the progression of mods. Exhaust is def coming first. LTs and TDs, but not sure what brand and size goes well w/ the 5.3.

I'm sure the 1 3/4 Pacesetters would be plenty for the 5.3. I just did 2.5" TD's on my Ram and didn't use an Xpipe I bought and have hella rasp above 2500 with 1-chambers, never would have figured that.

Not trying to hate but that is a puddle jumper.

It's like putting 6" high heels on a paraplegic woman, pretty useless.

it looks good. the gmc's look 100x better than the chevy's. i cant stand the front ends on the new chevy's!!!! i say put LT's ORY or X and w/e exhaust you want. i like the way magnaflow sounds. but in all honesty if it's a DD leave the stock exhaust on and let it be a sleeper.

Nice truck! The thought of owning a RCSB has crossed my mind, always preferred the GMC front fascia compared to the Chevy.

That is completely impossible for me! LOL! I wasn't born with the gene that allows people to keep their vehicles in stock form.

well you definitly dont wanna lower it cause if you use it for anything then the truck will be rendered useless. the only thing i would do is maybe some minor bolt ons if your going to do anything. do more than that and start "racing" it ****'s going to be breaking and your DD will be down. a dependable DD is better than a "fast" DD. that's just my $.02

CAI (I like VaraRam...but its ugly), OBX LTs, ORY, Corsa Sport catback, and BlackBear tune. Then start planning for cam swap with AFM delete or AFM friendly cam.
