Default 2001 Oiling Problem

My son bought my 2001 Z a few months back. The car has a 408 pushing around 480 to the tires that had an oil pressure of 55 psi at idle and between 50-60 psi while driving. The car now puts out 25 psi at idle & about the same while driving. He changed the oil pump with another HO pump with the same problem. The car is not making any noise at all and seems to run ok with the limited amount of run time allowed with low pressure. Does anyone have a clue where to start? Could it be a spun cam bearing? Any direction will be greatly appreciated.

It has 2 sensors the Factory and an aftermarket for a pillow guage both are acting the same. For the $30.00 it may be worth trying the sensor. Thanks

Could be some trash blocking the pick up.

My WS6 carries about 25 at Idle and 35-40 driving.

Just pull the pan to check everything. It will be easier than pulling the front of the motor back down.

Update; Pulled the Motor and tore it down and we found that the number 4 Main Bearing was spun. No damage to the rod or crank but all will be sent to the machine shop to be checked. We are also adding Trick Flow 235 heads while it is out.

My 2001 has about the same but it also has a slight leak.
