Theres a guy here in Oklahoma that has a 69 trans am (i dont know if its a real trans am, it could very well be a clone) thats been lifted and put on a 80's silverado truck frame. Has a 455 in it, all the off road goodies. Its not my style (niether are grossly lifted trucks either) but looking at his car I can appreciate all the fab work and money that went into it. I wouldnt even know where to start doing something like that. Luckily for me my car already sits like a 4x4 .

I wish I'd hit he lottery so I could buy a brand new ZL1 and convert it to a lifted 4x4 just to watch everyone here cry like a baby on a Superior Waterbed.
