He's not saying that because he has what he has and knows there's other stuff out there that's better.

IMO the ws6 hood looks so ridiculous. I love my sleak beak. Don't get me wrong, I plan getting a wsq hood and I'll be pimpin then for sure. Lmao

Even some current WS6 owners are ate up with it being "better" notion.

I mean other than a resale value what does it even matter? A badge here, a hood there? Some parts that came from factory that you would be replacing anyways? I use to care but I would be happy with a Z28 that has an SS clone'd style and not pay the price for a true SS. It all comes down to resale, it doesn't make a WS6 any better than your car.

Just because they have money doesn't mean they're willing to throw it away. You're gonna get what you're gonna get if you sell. Doesn't matter if they have money or not.

IMO the collectible LS1 WS6 cars will be '98-'99 1LE's, and the 2000 with the optional one year only wheels. Maybe the yellow 2002's but I doubt it. In any case they need to be stock and unmolested. Most of the couple dozen 1LE WS6 have been hacked three times over. I know where a bone stock 99 with an interesting pedigree is parked, but the owner is one of those **** collector types.

The rest were made in too large a volume. Not sure if true, but I have read that in 2001 more WS6 T/A's were made than base model T/A's.

The other sad truth, and this includes my car, is that most collectors aren't going to want a car that was owned by anyone on this website.

I understand wanting the top of the line. For a lot of us it was the car we drooled over when we were younger. I have an
LT1 WS6 vert formula and two firehawks. I still love the 98-02 WS6- I like that it is cartoonish.

Has it really been 20 years since the 93 Hawks!???

I remember reading a magazine about them at the grocery store I worked at, until June 1992. So yeah. I wanted one sooooo bad.
