Well before the clutch started slipping it put down 686 on 6 psi and 708 to the tires on 9.5 psi, as you can see I'm sure it started slipping, all on a safe tune as well, motor is a fully built 396 with the works, heads, etc etc… too much to name, after the clutch is put in the turbo will limit my hp, Redline has done all the work with fab and tuning, it runs awesome! He says the turbo will max out around 850ish to the ground, so I'm just maxing it out for now until I upgrade to an 88, this turbo has really impressed me though. Who knows, it may keep passing expectations! I'm a die hard 6-speed guy, an auto will never be seen in my car lol! I'll buy a drag car down the road at some point though, this is strictly to play on the street I'm sure after 1 pass on a 1/4 track I would be banned for my trap speed since I have no roll cage or anything, my car looks completely stock besides the exhaust coming out the bumper the the Harrier noise lol, ever have Mickey street slicks. Built 9in and some vht in case I want to attempt a dig on low boost…

I've never seen any other lt1 put that down on 6 psi, even my engine builder is amazed and my tuner. It's all about the tune and combo, I'll see If I can get the dyno chart emailed to me! I love being the underdog with my lt1! Idk any one else with a turbo lt1 in the nation doing those number on 6 pounds… cannot wait to see what 18+ does!

Wouldn't mind bring the litre bike as well! Anyone have any experience with the spec stage 5? I hear they heat up fast and even 1 pass from 20-150 with over 700hp would heat it up and cause it to slip… any reviews?

As far as distributor what are you using for the LT1? I have a buddy with a 383 that he cant keep running because of distributor problems and they are such a bitch to change all the time. I think he has been through 5-6 of them now honestly lol.

I have a brand new factory replacement opti, few things have changed since that picture, also have the best electric water pump money can buy now as well. Huge feed and return braided gas lines. New digital 6 plus box and best coil and alot of other things such as welded fuel rails with big braided lines, Fuel system's good to like 2500 hp, can never have too much! It's always there if I want to go with a bigger turbo and stuff down the road. Engine bay looks completely different now! That was just an older picture while the car was getting built.

Coil pack per cylinder conversion is your best bet for the LTx not to mention you will want to get all the help you can get with that turbo and I am sure that stock opti will hold you back.
