They are pricey. In 2006 I got myself a Magnum SRT8. Went to the dealer one day with my kid and fell in love with the wagon in their showroom. Bought it the same day. It was $52,500.
They later drop in price but, as a fact, my wagon was D/C in 2008. Mine is 1 of 500 done in Silver for 2006. Production total was 1,500 aprox. I expect mine to increase in price slowly over the years.
I have realized that buying new is not worth it in the end. My next buy will be a classic, I'm staying away from new.
