good luck going to the track in Houston... the nearest Houston area track is in Sealy, and its at least 3 hrs from here... so you would be better off running up in Ennis at Texas Motorplex. Even if you want to go for the street scene, DFW area would be a better bet

 

I want to run at Houston Raceway Park, It's damn close to sea level IIRC. I just need to get a new helmet and DS safety loop. The one in Ennis doesn't look to far. Might check that out as well.

 

Finally on the ground here in Killeen! I'm loving the weather. I just made an offer on a house and have about a month before the car arrives.

 

went to little river last night the car scene wasn't bad, but the track was sketchy at best.

Little River is sketchy... But that's what makes it fun! You should come down to Austin on Saturday night, we don't have the Autobahn but the next closest thing... PM for details man, there are guys from Ft Hood that come down all the time.

Yeah the winters are brutal! Iv'e been all been all over western Europe.

Where in germany were you stationed? I was down In Kitzingen with 4/3 ADA 1st Infantry division.

Quick update: got my car here and took it out to little river. Ran a best of 12.2, is that normal for a cammed car for that track? I'm still trying to break out and run a high 11 pass while it's still cam only.

 

Street tires or slicks? I ran a 12.1 on street tires but I ran 11.8 on 26x11.5 15 MT ET STREET. Both of the times cam only.

That's pretty good for that track! With garbage tires I went 12.5 @ 115 there in my cam only T/A. Of course my friend doesn't film the board lol.
