I am pretty sure I know what it takes to go mid 5s and I bet you money it will go that fast at his current weight. You will see soon enough. I think we are going out to the track in next couple of weekends.

lol I Was just yanking your chain.

you actually have a good chance of winning, I could spin, or something could go wrong on my car, your car is pretty fast, you could come around me pretty easily if anything is not 100% on my part.

Congrats on knowing what it takes to run mid 5's, join the club.

I bet it doesn't run 5.60's or better next time out. Eventually sure, but anything is possible

Is Tiago coming up to DFW for the race or is TINKRD going down to Houston for the race? If DFW, in 4 for the race I've always been a big fan of Tiago's car, would love to see it in person, and I never realized how much of a monster of a car TINKRD had lol.

That doesnt mean anything. Its all about traction and who can hook from 60 to 180 + Reason alot of the High HP cars loose to a lower HP car unless they can reel them in on the bigend. Its going to be a badass event for sure! Tinkrd you brining your brother? Would like to finally meet all of you guys.

Your stick is a 408 compared to the auto 370 the 408 should pull harder..

But I think I get what you’re saying... It's just hard to compare the two when they're setup different.

2000 SS Camaro,370, TH400 w/ Neal Chance, PT88, TFS 225 heads.

Cubes are different but the 370 also has better heads, I am sure the 408 still prolly makes a bit more but I would say the difference on an engine dyno would not be too much, but then again that's just me guessin, I don't have the kinda money it takes to build a car like that, or anything close to it.

A dig it was no contest, but a 60 roll sucked.

Which is why I believe with the same HP it should be an advantage for the stick car. It went 1.37 60' with th400 and had a calculated 8 percent slip. 1.48 60' with the 6 speed leaving at 6800 rpms.
Your converter must not have been very good for your combo.
