I am pretty sure I know what it takes to go mid 5s and I bet you money it will go that fast at his current weight. You will see soon enough. I think we are going out to the track in next couple of weekends.

you actually have a good chance of winning, I could spin, or something could go wrong on my car, your car is pretty fast, you could come around me pretty easily if anything is not 100% on my part.

That doesnt mean anything. Its all about traction and who can hook from 60 to 180 + Reason alot of the High HP cars loose to a lower HP car unless they can reel them in on the bigend. Its going to be a badass event for sure! Tinkrd you brining your brother? Would like to finally meet all of you guys.

But I think I get what you’re saying... It's just hard to compare the two when they're setup different.
2000 SS Camaro,370, TH400 w/ Neal Chance, PT88, TFS 225 heads.
1998 SS Camaro, 408, T56 w/ Mcleod RXT, PT88, 317 Heads.

Cubes are different but the 370 also has better heads, I am sure the 408 still prolly makes a bit more but I would say the difference on an engine dyno would not be too much, but then again that's just me guessin, I don't have the kinda money it takes to build a car like that, or anything close to it.

I have a spare built t56 with twin disc clutch as well as spare 1000 hp rated th400 with lock up clutch. When I had the 67mm turbo and 6 speed I went 10.40 at 132 mph, Put in th400 and went 10.39 at 127 - 128 mph. Car had a pretty hard time staying even with people I was leaving easy from a roll before. A dig it was no contest, but a 60 roll sucked.
Which is why I believe with the same HP it should be an advantage for the stick car. It went 1.37 60' with th400 and had a calculated 8 percent slip. 1.48 60' with the 6 speed leaving at 6800 rpms.
