K well my buddy has a close to stock ls1 with about 180000 miles and he ran my buddies brand new 5.0 both sticks and well the 5.0 took him by maybe a car length. Now I raced a 5.0 with a boss intake, full exaust, cai, and a tune. I was driving my 99 ws6 ls6 intake, full exaust, full bolt on and a baby cam. He supposedly dynoed 525 to the flywheel, my car dynoed 420ish to the wheels, well let me just say, I came out on top by about a car and a half... So yea these 5.0 engines are strong but these ls1 engines are still top of their game. Like it was mentioned in a earlier post, it's a 13 year difference and yet these motors are still keeping up with today's technology. I wouldn't spend the 35000 on a new mustang to get spanked by a car like mine. I've probably invested about 10 k in the car, parts, labor, and tuning. I like my car. Plus the look of a t/a is alot more aggressive than a mustang

Tell you what x Tx out law z i was doubtful at first , but a buddy of mine purchased a 2012 pull me over red. And the damn car went 12.10 @ 116 with a 2.10 60 ft. The car is a 6 speed manual tuned cai with cat backs. Ill pm you the next time he goes to Baytown rpr and you can see for your self. That was on stock tires btw! believe it or not . I didn't till i witnessed it. Before the tune it went 12.80 something. Not talking about your car Midnight Nova! we already know what the outcome of the 2011 Camaro ss 6 speed vs the 2011 Stang is . No contest y'all even switched drivers lol! your car is bone stock to the filter...

That guy with the 525 wasn't my buddy, he's just a random guy that kept bragging about his car so I decided to take his *** out. So yea idk how true his numbers were lol all I know is he wasn't stock. He showed me under the hood and he had done some mods, but still wasn't enough for my ls1
