Benefit car show 6/2/2012 I have been asked to spread the word about the benefit car show we will be having. This is for a friend of mine that i have known well for about 20 years. It is amazing how positive she remains, even after starting her chemo. The support from people who dont even know her just blows me away. I will probably be going around the next week handing out flyers at some car shows. I will be entering as well even though i know i will not win, but just giving her support in her time of need.
they will have a blood donation mobile unit there which is what is keeping her alive at the moment.
This will be in deer park, i would really like to have the support of the local ls1tech members. Thank you

Thus will be in deer park at the corner of Spencer and center street. Its at faith bridge church parking lot. They donate the space for the benefit.
You do not have to enter to come. They're will be bbq and other things there also.

ill be there.....come on guys, you all can meet up in a parkin lot at night to bullshit, shouldnt be a problem to meet up on a saturday and help out a cause....

Thank you big dragon. I went to visit her last night and physically she looks real bad but she is in high spirits. MD Anderson said they have never seen anyone get so many people to donate blood and platelets for one person that is not supported by a big benefit organization. She is truly bring looked over. The benefit we are holding has grown more than I ever thought it would.
Even if 5 cars show up its better than none. There will be plenty to do there for adults and children. And now they will have 2 mobile blood donation units there. Its funny because MD Anderson is booked solid for the last 2 Weeks to donate and 80% of then are for Tausha.
