Default Thin 20in lcd screen?

I know they make thin tv's but is there a good place that sells just like a screen itself that I can convert to a flip down and sit plush against the headliner? I want one for my F350 to use the computer, play xbox and stuff. I know you can buy the whole set up but I don't like that inch thick box hanging down from my roof, just a thin screen that willl lay flat and I can tuck all the wiring and power box into the headliner out of site. A 32' would be cool too but I think it might be too heavy.

example:

Check into laptop screens. I have seen some 20" laptops that are less than 1/2" thich. So the screen would be really thin. I am sure they sell just the replacement LCD screens for them.

What you are referring to would be considered an open frame monitor. If you found a company that made that style that thin, you would pay double what the retail version is.
