20 rounds is 5 bucks, that is besides the point. Just do not want two ARs and one doesn't do the work of the other. You might but I have more fun with my pistols allot more often. I have a browning .22 pistol that is a blast, but I could see going with the original post, would be sweet and I have no practicality forthe real deal. Just personal preference on my end, not what makes sense to you or anyone else because of different want/need/preference.

You own only one AR? Are you a commie or a democrat?

Well said ... to each his own. I get bored shooting the same thing all the time.

So I have a variety and multiples ... ones that are mine and others that the family uses.

I like shooting an AR10 most ...

Idk what the next purchase will be as a rifle, but a mini 14, jacketed as .22, I could consider.

Went to the Market Hall gun show yesterday and picked up one of these HK MP5 22s and some other fun things.

Cleaned it up and made it ready for a trip to the range today.

Randy_S ... how was your trip?

My wife mentioned that she moved (dad's) gun off of his couch the other day. Then she saw it in my truck so I had to fess up to it being mine. I am supposed to get out to a ranch this evening to put some rounds through it, hoping to see more than cans.

I love plinking with .22's, like you said, helluva lot easier to stomach throwing out 500 rounds for the cost of 20 .223's. Not like I am going hunting with a .22, unless you count turtles in our tank

BTW, gun in OP does look like a hellafun lil plinking gun.

Back from the range and ran 300 rounds of Federal bulk through it. Target was set at 20 yards

Pros -
its a 22 and cost about $8 to run 300 rounds through it.
very solid feel
amazingly accurate
easy to load mag

Cons -
its a heavy gun
mag takes a little getting used to getting it seated.
trigger is heavy
no rails for optics and the rail for the gun is stupid expensive

Not a single hiccup. And as you can see, it was like shooting down a pipe right out of the box. After 300 rounds, the gun didn't even get warm to the touch and accuracy never changed.

I have a 10/22 and a MP15/22.

I like the 15/22 best with the MP5/22 bringing up a close second.

Does that integral suppressor bring down the noise any or is strictly a compensator? You could have some fun running subsonic in one of these

I put four clips through it yesterday myself. No targets, shot at turtles on a pond. I had a hard time lining up the sight at different distances with such small ammo wanting to wander. I actually was able to shoot the first round and then walk it into closer where I wanted it rather easy, no recoil at all.

I have looked at the top rail but not gotten pricing, I would like to purchase a sight for it but not sure the value is there to put a sight on this gun. Either way, its a fun little rifle and myself and the kids will enjoy it.

Now I need to save up for a .308 sniper rifle, I want to shoot the 1,000 yard mark.
