I drive an '04 Denali XL as my daily driver. It is all wheel drive with a 4" lift, 20" Jesse James wheels and 305 55r20's. 6.0 engine, leather, heated front and rear seats, and it rides super smooth on road and off.

Like said above, Equinox or Traverse = mom car.

Well looks like the majority of y'all think what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't flying solo, thanks.

Nope Tahoes are not a soccer mom ride. I have a 2000 LS 4x4 that I drive everyday and I love it. Best road trip vehicle I've ever had.

Personally I would rather have a truck, but Tahoes are very nice and I wouldn't mind driving one at all. I plan on getting my fiance one, and she's already calling it her "momma car".. lol

I think Tahoes are nice vehicles, but I do see a lot of mommies driving around Austin in them.

There's a grain of truth to what your friends told you, OP.

I think a Tahoe is an "any person" car who needs/wants some extra room along with some towing capacity.

Tahoe's aint chick cars, now if you go to the suburban then you might get some strange looks. I was looking at getting a Tahoe too but I felt as if everyone was driving one, in Houston at least. I ended up getting the '11 Yukon Denali and am loving it, except for the gas mileage FML!

+1 on the equinox and traverse being chick cars though

the tahoes are nice and def not a mommy car. i agree they are a any person car however i would rather have a truck to be able to throw **** in the back and not care if it's dirty or not and the better towing. the trucks have about as much room in the backseat as the tahoes. either way you cant go wrong... the 4x4 tahoe with some bfg all terrains would be pretty sick looking imo.

Dont really care what people think. I'm married, 29 years old, and drive a 4runner as my daily. I have no need for a big truck since I own a ford work van for carrying lots of stuff. Also have a car that holds its own vs most cars I run in to, so I can care less what people think.

Z71 Tahoe is the way to go! If you do get one ltz be sure to get 4x4 at least, takes soccer mom equation out of picture.
