So I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about upgrading to a c6 Z06. Only thing is, it would be my dd. I know you don't buy a z06 for the gas mileage, but seeing as that it would be driven daily, i was curious as to what you guys are getting? Do any of you dd a z06? Anything would be better than my WS6 in gas mileage. Also, how's the reliability as far as parts breaking?

27 to 30 on the highway

Obviously if driving cautiously... a lot worse if you keep your foot in it.

No but I easily could. I have put probably 6000 miles on it in 7 months.

my c5z is about the same as the poster above... that is if you can ever keep your foot out of it... i don't daily mine so i usually get on it when i do drive it and i get about 18mpg around town... as far as parts breaking i don't you should expect anything different than any other LS car

If I get one, I was thinking of getting Gforce's stage 1 set up, that way I'll make a little more power, get a better sound, and maybe even better gas mileage since it will breathe better.

I was considering looking at a 2008 viper srt-10, but my friend says his would be a TERRIBLE daily. He said It's very unforgiving.

I get about 13-14 mpg in my stalled and cammed ws6...oh yea, were talking about Vettes. : (

You can get a set from Nine Ball. Nice, inexpensive wheel.

I looked into SRT-10's but ergonomically, the Z is much better.
