Well, The voting is in....
I agree that healthcare needed some fixing but the government needs to stay out of our personal lives. Government was not meant to interject themselves into our daily lives but the more we let them...the more control they'll have over EVERYTHING WE DO.
And I certainly don't want that.

They started having trouble after the US cracked the market 08 with the subprime mortgage crisis. FOX news channel isnt the only media outlet guys..
BTW: I support the President and the government as an instrument of national policy and that's how I support "you". I don't know who I'll vote for as I am waiting to hear all the speeches filled with nothing but the truth. I've never been a straight line party voter and never will be. I dont even support Obamacare, I just responded to a young brother in arms who believed he'll have to turn his weapon on US citizens when martial law hits this country and another who stated that we potentially lost half our freedoms from Obamacare(not even sure what he meant, but felt he was way off in his math). Yes, I threw the BS flag because I have faith that we have more people in the government trying to do good than bad and dont believe martial law will hit the US in this lifetime or ever. Thats my belief, but not, written in stone as the truth.

I guess China doesn,t kill millions of female babies a year either. There is a report that they alone are changing the balance between male to female ratios for the whole world. Expect that young Chinese men will be the next influx of immigaints to the USA.
Oh yea why don't you pay more in taxes for everyones health care. If u want to fix it so bad.. Just mail the check to the US Treasury Dept.
this is one of those situations where just about everyone has skin in the game. the doctors, for example, hurt the system by charging out the *** for procedures in order to pay for their medical school loans, their fancy new equipment, and lastly (what most people don't realize) is profit.
Plenty of doctors, residents and graduating medical students are on a 25yr plan to pay their loans. That's a long time, how much do you think they are overcharging?
2. the doctors hurt the system by charging out the *** for their fancy new equipment
Do you prefer they use cheap *** equipment?
3. the doctors hurt the system by charging out the *** for profit.
I dont know of anyone who is in the business of losing money.
A lot of people believe what you said in your quote so I wont get on your *** about it. Are there cases where medical professionals are taking advantage? Of course, Medicaid/Medicare fraud stories pop up every year. Keep in mind though that medicine is a business just like everything else. Just like all businesses, they expect to make money. Operating costs (which is a big part of the overall problem as you indirectly mentioned in the rest of your quote) are high so if it's expensive for them, it's expensive for you. People don't go to school for 11 years minimum and develop a skill in high demand and beneficial to society while taking out $150k in loans to offer their services for free.
If I misunderstood what you were trying to say, I apologize in advance. Just wanted to clear up a few things before doctors as a whole start getting bashed.
But if I have to answer the question of "what been done for you" alamo, then I feel like there is not enough bandwidth on this board to explain it. Unfortunately, you represent alot of the population. I've been there myself before.

Add that with all of the trashy *** Americans who refuse to insure themselves then skip out on their medical bills and here we are. High insurance costs and high medical expenses. My wife's uncle (who is a doctor) stopped delivering babies 20+ years ago, because the malpractice insurance had gone through the roof because of all of the lawsuits in the industry. A lot of people (mostly trash) will sue over ANYTHING.
