Thanks bud! Yup, log style headers have worked great for turbo builds. It's tough in the pics but these are 2" primary's into a 2.5" log. Should create some pretty good velocity. If for some reason they don't perform I will fab up some true turbo headers but from what I have seen they should work.

Nice build. I wish I were closer, I'd weld your headers up for free and it would look much different. I'm a stickler for stuff like that....The first thing people will look at is the exhaust system when the hood is lifted.

Thanks bud! Man I have almost every lsx manifold known to man. I tried them all, steering shaft is what is the main culprit.

UPDATE : Getting ready to put the motor/trans in for good then finish downpipe and cold side. Will post more pics when done.

Great Project, and everything looks good. Doing a stock L76 truck engine in my 03 Sonoma so I'm glad to see it fits so good. Adding a 6L80 to get a more interesting daily driver.

TA has been running for months been too damn hot to race. I am however gearing up for the next Texas Invitational in October. Changing up a few things. Good luck running 12lbs with no IC. Plan on running e85? Curious to see what those IATs rise to.

Let me know when you want a crack at the TA.

Thats awesome man! It'll be awhile before I get my little notch done, got 4 builds right now I'm working on.

Wanna finish the blazer to have a little fun with. I will eventually intercool it, but to get it up and running I gotta make sure it runs cool before I start restricting airflow to the radiator. Easy to do, no issues.

I'll hollar at you when I get the notch done bro. I do remember now you mentioning something about bearing taking a dump, that sucks for sure.

Love this build I just recently sold my 1995 Pontiac Trans Am Convertible because I started a auto detailing business and needed to be mobile. my old ride.

I bought a 2002 Xtreme Blazer just like yours, always wanted one and figured now was the time. Bought some 20" Irocs for it.
The new ride.

I have been thinking about doing a 5.3 swap so I really love this thread

Here is my link on s10forum.com showing my paint restore on mine, good luck on your build I will be watching.
