I think I picked some up when I was at Surfside beach the Saturday before last. I was getting bit in my room so I vacuumed and washed all of my bedding. The biting stopped for several days, but I was bitten overnight around my ankles.

Are there any permanent solutions to getting rid of them?

I can't shoot the fleas, silly! They're too small! :p

The internet says to sprinkle salt all over the carpet, leave it for 24 hours, and then vacuum it up.

i had a real bad flea problem in may in my garage i couldnt set foot in there, i fog it like 4 times and then i sprayed lime all around it and that seemd to work havent seen them since
