We dont do the actual rebuild of the transmissions. We do all the installs and swaps, just no actual transmission rebuilds.
We do tuning as well, hptuners and EFIlive.

Tunes are $375 Street Tune, $50 an hour for dyno tuning.
Heads and Cam Install Labor is $500
Around $200 in head gaskets, bolts and fluids.
Custom ground Cam Kit is $1200. Cam is a Billet Core from Bullet Racing Cams, Our design is in conjunction with Frankenstein Racing Heads. Valve Springs are custom to the profile of the Camshaft.
Off the shelf Cam Kit is $750 from Texas Speed.
Cylinder Head pricing depends on what combination of camshaft were putting together. We can have your factory castings cnc'ed or hand ported, or we can run aftermarket castings, Trickflow, AFR, Edelbrock, are the big three we use.

Well, looks like your new sponsor is already out of business, or they moved and haven't told anyone where they moved!
There old shop in Alvarado is empty and the land lord is left with a broken lease, and a dirty shop to clean up.
Hey, Redneck,
Those are the guy's that screwed you over, it was just Chris back then, now it's Chris and Colten now. So I guess you could say that Colten told you the truth that it wasn't him, but It is the SAME COMPANY........
If you need to know where there at just ask, I'm sure they will tell you.....

This is Chris Holland, half owner of LSX Powersports.
I apologize for your bad luck with the engine, but things need to be straightened out with the story of the engine so LS1tech can see that we arent here to screw everybody.
The engine was pulled out of a wrecked GTO. It was a 408 and ran when the car was wrecked. Thats all I knew of the engine, it was a friends car so I didnt suspect anything would be wrong with it since I had seen the car run and ridden in it numerous times. The motor was sold at a resonable price because of the fact that I didnt know anything about it and I didnt know who built it. Upon pickup of the engine I allowed the buyer (redneck) to check the engine out, I had it on an engine stand with the oil pan off when he was there to check it out before the purchase was made. Upon his arrival he simply asked a few questions about the engine, looked at it, and said he wanted it. Once again, I do want to apologize that Redneck had bad luck with the engine, but I just need to clarify that we, LSX Powersports, had no part in the build of the engine, but we were simply the middle man in the sale of the engine.
To LS1tech members, we sell alot of pullout engines that we know nothing about. The customer purchasing the engine at the time is notified of anything we know about the engine and they are satisfied everytime. Redneck is the only one that has actually had a problem with a used engine in the two years that LSX Powersports has been around. When you purchase a used motor that is used under the conditions that this one was sold, there is no warranty with a used engine. We hope that any customer purchasing an engine under these conditions would be aware of that.
Redneck/Adam, we spoke with Joe Torrez and he told us about the engine, he said it had issues and that it was hurt. We arent engine builders, we build custom cars and trucks. Joe said that it had hurt bearings and cylinder walls, when you picked the engine up, you looked at the same thing I did and you didnt raise any eyebrows either, just like I didnt, because neither you or I are engine builders. Once again sorry for the problems of the used engine.
