X275 purses increase at HMP!

Default X275 purses increase at HMP!
For the three races in 2012, HMP is increasing the X275 purse thanks to several sponsors. Here is the breakdown:

Sept 8th = $1500 to Win purse sponsored by Northside Chassis.
$700 R/U, $250 Semis, $125 Quarters
October 6th = $5000 to Win sponsored by Pipeline Express, Welding Outlets Inc., Northside Plumbing, TRE and Fiesta Mart.
$1000 R/U, $400 Semis, $200 Quarters
November 10th = $5000 to Win sponsored by Pipeline Express, Welding Outlets Inc., Northside Plumbing, TRE and Fiesta Mart.
$1000 R/U, $400 Semis, $200 Quarters

Will a small block ford with twin 88 s be legal in x275?

HMP will follow the X275 rules as published on X275.net. Temporarily for the last three races this year (Sept, Oct & Nov), we will allow the Chevrolet Tall Block above 588 cubic inches up to a maximum of 632 cubic inches with a weight penalty of 150 lbs. At the end of this season, we will make the decision on whether to continue this exception for 2013. Should the rules change on X275.net, so will the rules at HMP. The X275 class will be part of the entire 2013 season as well.

OK... Yea, never mind. I re-read the rules again. The cast intake is for big block only. Small block combinations can run any type intake. Thanks!

Looks as if I would only have to add 50 pounds. So nitrous small block with sheet metal intake... 2950 pounds if I am reading it correctly.
