Junking cars without a title?
I guess Im not putting the right terms into Google but I havent been able to find a "how-to" to do this. My uncle has left a bunch of junk cars on my grandma's property that she wants removed. Only problem is everywhere Ive found needs a title for me to turn it in for scrap. Well she doesnt have the titles for them and all I can find is basically Ill have to apply for a salvage title for each of them before I can haul them off for scrap. I cant seem to find exactly how much this will cost me other than the $8 fee for the VTR-441 form. BUT we dont have any proof of ownership, theyve been on her property for atleast 20 years and shes just tired of them "decorating" her land.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cut them up to the point theyre not a car anymore a lot of places ive been to varied on how they looked at this rule, one place ive gone to it was as simple as knocking the lugs off so it could not have wheels mounted to it anymore and another was not happy about taking just the cab of a truck. So i guess youll have to ask the yards around you about that. Hope this is some help

To be honest I really haven't taken inventory of exactly what is out there and what state each one is in. Most have been sitting out in a field for 20ish years so they're in pretty crappy condition. I just knew most scrap yards won't take a vehicle without the title. I'd just like to make a few bucks if possible off of messing with all of it.
I probably won't have time to mess with hauling them off til November anyway so hopefully steel prices have gone up by then. I hauled 6,000 pounds of rebar off the job a couple weeks ago and only got $315 for it.

Then what am I going to do with all the non metal stuff? I'd rather just dump all of it at once. Hell of a lot easier to load too. I can just hook my winch to the front of them and yank them on the trailer.
