Fake intake noise tubes, now fake cam sounds? Mustangs have been 'fast and furious-ed'.

"Watch out, bro! I might blow the welds on the intake!"

Asked one million times over the last 11 years on ls1tech:

"My exhaust isn't loud enough. What exhaust should I switch to?"

...switches exhaust for sound with no performance gain whatsoever.

It's an audible enhancement.

Do a search here on LS1tech for "overlap". Guys play with it a little to get a choppier idle out of their cam. These Ford guys are able to do the same thing via a custom tune.

Actually, my Magnaflow added power to my car. Headers and Y into stock exhaust was a bit restrictive.

And on the overlap front, it usually goes along with a more aggressive cam than the stocker, so there's actually power to be had.

The title reminds me of people asking, "Do you have cams?". No I have a cam and then they are excited like it is something special that I added to the car.

FYI, the car came with a cam. Cammed is now a verb.

Of course a free flowing catback added power to your car. What if you were'nt pleased with the tone of the new catback and wanted something that sounded a little more aggressive? You'd look to swap out the muffler, right? No power would be gained, but it would sound meaner. My point exactly.

The stock Mustang tune adds overlap in the upper rpm range for scavenging purposes (increasing performance). This tune adds a little at idle for "music" to the ears...you know...kind of like going from Magnaflow mufflers to Corsa. You might not gain much if any, but it sounds better.
