I think the whole team kinda got lax after that 20pt. Lead in the 3rd. And peyton came close to taking it. He did help to cut it down to just a 6pt win. cant let that happen again. They have to put em away as hard as.possible even with a big lead. No matter who it is.
Im traumatized still from the bills comeback against the oilers.

That was a little too close for comfort, helped by a couple bs calls but thats ok they held on. I think the most impressive thing about the texans is there is still room to improve. If tate hadn't fumbled, the almost-comeback likely wouldn't have happened, there were 3 or 4 passes that our defensive backs had in their hands, a couple dropped passes etc.

We have a great team, top 2-3 in the league if we can stay healthy. Matt Schaub is one tough SOB!

Agree, schaub took some shots, even some dirty ones. Not happy we gave up the lead but glad to see how they responded against a pretty good comeback by Manning. No way they win that game last year. I was fearful that Kubiak was gonna start with his crap play calling to keep the lead instead of playing to win. Actually drew up a decent pass play on 3rd and 5 to seal it. Very happy with the win.

I am still going to therapy over that loss.

The offsides were killing us and the bad reffing is a staple, so we can't blame that.

Interceptions and fumbles are going to happen unfortunately, we just have to keep them at a minimum.

Conversions are important, but what we lack are 40 point games. We don't have that yet. We need to hang around the 40+ mark to remain competitive.

That's it? The guy practically swung his arms straight to his head. Schaub even had a piece of his ear ripped off. Should be suspended.

Very dirty shot. If the NFL truely cares about protecting it's players, Mays will be fined $50k+ AND be suspended a game or 2.

He definitely should be fined, but suspended? I really don't think he intended to go helmet to helmet. He put his helmet in Schaub's chest, and the helmet came up and went into Schaub's helmet. The guy was coming at Schaub like a freight train, and he wasn't able to stop. I think he meant to run over Schaub like a bus, but I don't think he had any intention of giving Schaub a blow to the head.

None of us know for sure, but that's my opinion.

LOL! Mmmk.

The dude loaded up and launched himself upward and into Schaub's head like a billy goat. I guess it's his first offense, so a suspension might be a bit extreme.

Whether intentionally or by accident, the point is, it happened. It wasn't a bang-bang play, he had plenty of time to know where he was going. Straight up dirty how he did Schaub.

That was a plain dirty play, sadly some idiots will never learn untill someone is seriously hurt or severly suspended. I understand its always been a rough sport but the last 3-4 years they have been trying to control this type of **** and I have yet to see why most players dont just lead with the shoulders and aim for the chest/body. Another thing I dont like seeing is airborn receivers getting pounded with no chance in moving.

Flip it around- if JJ Watt had done that to Manning he would have been ejected from the game

Jj is a very aggressive, but he doesnt go and spear qb's.
Mays speared schaub, anyone who has ever played a down of football saw that.
He wasnt the only one, i saw a few others also tryin to spear him. They were trying to take him out imo.
