Spot on dial-in

Why is it that when I did my dial time did the race and my dial in was the same as my race time but I lost. I don't get how i could lose dial in was 7.70 and my race time was 7.70 but still lost.
Does anyone know why.?

I just played it for the first time last night. What a time suck! LOL

I was able to get consistent 7.80s @ 172-173 without buying any gold/credits.

Help!

So here i am, i smoke the other player, but wait, i lose, it says i ran under my predicted dial-in giving the automatoc win to the other player, HOW DO I FIX THIS??
