Default Place to take catalytic converters

Where can I take a catalytic converter to recycle it??? I am in DFW and just curious if it is even worth taking 1 old converter? LMK Thanks

Don't know where in your area but I recycled a couple three days ago for $15 each

Ahh not really worth the drive for me to recycle them then. I will just throw them in the scrap metal pile.

Default Theft

Some were getting stolen in my area because they contain platinum or some other precious metal. Might be worth making a few phone calls, anyway.

There is a place in grand prairie. I'm not sure of the name but I took my dpf there and got 500$. They also have a place on Austin. The guy that runs it is a douche but he will buy your stuff.

When metal prices were up you could get $150 for a pair. I have some collecting dust that Ill unload when metal prices go back up.

I took an aftermarket CC to a scrap yard a few miles from my house and got $15 last year. I hear that original CC will bring more $.

Well this a original from a 2002 camaro v6 car. I don't wanna just throw it out unless there is no money in it. We will see. Thanks for the heads up.

Are you talking about PGM of Texas ? If so sorry you didn't get good service I will make sure to bring it up next time I talk to the manager there. My family owns the company. But we have a manager that runs the Grand prairie location.
