Look at this you can see how much bigger 315 35 20s are on a vette... They will rub over bumps if you don't raise the rear a little. They are also narrower but they are over 28"

Hey no offence bro, but did you see JM correct me? Gus and I talked about it at the event and I touched them! How much convincing does it take for you bro? I saw Shaw Dunn's car there too, it is lower in the front and has a large rake I felt it was a combination of suspension and wheels/tires plus Gus's car has all the CF skirts so the height difference wouldn't stand out like a car without them.

none taken... perhaps he has coilover or something where he can tuck them without the tire touching over bumps..

Very true + back spacing on wheels. I have tuck 16" 315 MT Drag Radial 2's that are 27.2" on the Porsche, mainly because of the backspacing I had requested when built.

I have not read this thread, but I can tell by your post that everyone in the thread before you is lying and actually belongs to a LeBaron convertible fan club.

How streetable is the blue vette? A lot of guys say no way that's a street car when I show it. So I thought I'd ask.

Question. If I know a fair number of people who attended this event, who do I have to know for an invite? Do you HAVE to have a car that is 800hp+, be a part of the auto industry, have to know someone attending, or have to be a friend of a driver? Am I supposed to be PM'ing these questions to someone lol?

Joel, I'm guessing this is the event you were telling me about a few weeks ago

I wish Hoosier offered their drag radial in more sizes.

Yes I did, remember ramp rate on TTs is the key, especially with no BBG involved. My right foot did alot of that traction. Also most of you guys have 62s which kick in alot sooner( plus mo tark on lower rpm range) than my old 67s. So that helped as well......miss my 67s. 3rd/4th pulls were killer

Texas Speed Syndicate puts on the event. You could sign up on the forum.

I wouldn't personally try with 800hp. You are going to get stomped repeatedly. Everybody brings their A game and then some.

Well, there was that 750hp LS1 that made it past the first round of the corvette challenge.
