Default 4l80e help!!!!
got a 4l80e in my ws6 need some advise on , who around the dfw area is the best at building these things ?

Converter in locking up in every gear when it gets warm, doesn't slip at all, just you have to give it gas and it acts just like you were in 4th with tc lock up, it just snaps out of it and drives normal, even in reverse it does it and the hotter the trans gets the worse it gets, also will even kill the motor at times at a stop

Left many messages with Jakes, on tech and on voice mail. That was over two weeks ago, and yet still no reply ?

what did you use for the swap? plug and play harness?

Well I called yesterday again still no answer not return phone call, I'm not gonna chase people down to give them my money. I bought the car from a member on here and swap was done by him, not sure if he knew about the problem or not but I just need a solution, from what I can tell it looks like a plug and play connector

Jakes Performance has a new number, look under the sponsor sales section they posted it therer. But good luck with fix. I'm interested in putting 4l80E in my car.

If Jakes doesnt want your money then move on. Sounds like an electrical problem or something in the tune. Have you tried changing tunes?
