Let me quickly trade these Pilot Sports out back for some real rubber or I might get my feelings hurt. 
I am surprised the GT500 was a disappointment. They look really good but they are more common than what you ended up with. ZL1 seems much more limited- maybe just because it has only been out a year. I love the hood
the zl1 is just a much more easier & comfortable car to drive everyday. no comparison how it rides and handles vs my ss.
Congrats on the ZL1! Amazing car from what I hear. You must be the first person I have heard of that has an SS and ZL1 at the same time so my question is how do you compare the two? What are the pros & cons for each model? Is the price difference worth it or could a modded SS overcome a ZL1 for much less money?

stock for stock a ss wouldnt have even been a consideration if the zl1 was around when i bought my ss. the ride, power and handling are all on levels that you would have to drop a good amount of coin into a ss to even come close. as for building a ss to outpower a zl1, it comes down to how far you want to go with it. as for mine i havent had anytime to get it out and really drive it.
