Something new Well i finally did it. after a long search i finally came across a dealership that let me have the car at a great price. i weighed all my options between 13 gt500, cts-v coupe and used z06 vettes. finally got to take a zl1 for a test drive and that ended up being my choice. I went with a 2013 6 speed manual zl1. with that said here are the pics. also threw in a picture of something i hope to have finished and ready for TX2K13.

thanks, i went to about 15 ford dealerships in and out of town looking at the 13 gt500. but every single one of them was stuck on their premium. a few wanted 85000$ for theirs, the lowest price i found on one was 79995$ no way in hell im spending nearly 100k on a mustang.

chevrolet dealers were the same but i went back to the dealer i bought my 2010 ss from and they had a white zl1, but my heart sunk when i seen it was auto and sunroof. so i talked them into dealer trading for the one i have now. i even got 900$ off msrp along with a bunch of free add ons and upgrades. i couldnt be happier. the dealer was norman frede chevrolet off of bay area & feathercraft.
yea but i say go drive one before you are set on buying one, was really dissapointed with the way it drove and handled along with how you sit in it, its similair to driving a truck. but its pretty quick. thats still not enough to look past its shortcomings, definately a lesser car.

To the OP, definately would not have a chosen a Camaro over a Z06 (I assume you were looking at a C6) but you got a good car no doubt. I'm sure the mod bug will hit you soon just like everyone else. I care nothing for Mustangs and agree 100%, 85k for a Mustang is just stupid. You can get a ZR1 or a Viper for that kind of $$.

after that test drive of the gt500 ni doubt i would consider a car from ford. the trucks though. thats another story.Thanks Todd! actually ive had it about a week now. was just to lazy to go pick it up and half *** wash it to take pictures. great choice on the new ride.
