Default Good transmission/differential shop in Dallas area.

I've spent a bunch of money with Standard transmission over in Fort Worth, but I'm looking for a new shop. They didn't do anything wrong, just looking for something not so far from Dallas.

I've got a 9" that needs to be built, I want to have a posi installed in my '55 chevy convertible, and several other projects.

Anybody got recommendations?

Talk to Jason he does very good work.

I understand it's in Forth Worth... but if you want the best then you should be willing to drive to the best.

TDP.

another +1 for TDP.

been there twice now. had him install a stg 3 clutch, and he also replaced the gears in my 12-bolt.

I was coming from dallas as well, and he was very accommodating to schedule a time that was convenient for me since i didn't have anyone to cart me back and forth and would have to wait while he did the work.

Another vote for Jason...been there twice and been 100% satisfied with the service and craftsmanship both times. Jason is a great guy to do business with. I'm highly considering having him do gears in my current car...and I live in Colorado now! I would be willing to drive the distance for the peace of mind I would have knowing that the job would be done right.

Jason does great work as mentioned, but if you’re trying to stay in Dallas you might try Dallas Differential. I havn't had then do any work but I have bought parts from them regularly and they seem like a good shop, well stocked, knowledgeable people.
