The only flack it's going to get are on car forums where most wouldn't buy the car any way, to the general public most these name plates are pretty far removed from any current memory and rebadging isn't a new concept. Neither is the tendency to draw the same ire when it occurs from people who have no intentions of purchasing the car, so their opinions are void. I am with Ross, it's interesting, GM has some cool stuff in the pipeline just hope they don't equate to pipe dreams.

I heard T-Type and GNX as well.
The Alpha platform has impressed me so far and I didn't think the ATS would live up to the hype. It's going to be real interesting to see how that platform develops.

I think that it is going to be sweet, but they do need to make a coupe versions for sure. Next the need to work on bringing back Pontiac and the Trans Am!

I wish, I don't have the garage space and own 4 cars now. I seen one in Spring TX at a charity car show in decent shape and guy wanted $55k but I wasn't shopping just asked what he would let it go for

glad to see GM got it's head screwed on right finally and is moving this car back to RWD. when the 'new' regal was first on demo a few years ago at the dallas auto show, i told the GM rep 'FWD 4cyl? who cares!', and he was like 'no one remembers the grand national but you'

It could work, the business case is to gap the bridge between the Chevrolet and Cadillac, but at the same time, the current stuff hasn't been as big of a hit as one would expect. It'll serve as an image car for the brand and hopefully bring the solid food and permenant teeth market demographic in to Buick. Around me Buicks are either some one near a 100, or has a cousin serving a 100. 5th wheel and pokes.
