I stayed at the Drury Inn down the freeway from the Omni last year. It was alright, not many racers. I'm going to book a couple of rooms at the Marriott.

 

I was there as well last year what were you in if you don't mind me asking

 

My buddies and I rolled in from DFW in a black '02 turbo Mustang, a satin black '96 TA, and a Z71 Tahoe.

 

I am booked at the omni and will rolling down there hopefully with the 02 SS if it is all ready.

 

I also have a room for the Omni. Will be there for the weekend!

 

Ok Yea we talked I was in the formula, i'll be in my TA and the buddy that was with me last year will be in a LS1 240.

 

Well this Thread needs a bump i'm taking my car to SQR for a speed density tune this weeked and getting Exhaust done on the LS1 240. We will be there Thursday night even tho I only have a room at the Omni for friday and saturday night. I can't wait it's going to be a good time this and we will run anybody haha just for fun !

 

I was going to come down Friday early, when is everyone else going, any action on Thursday night?

Thursday night is fun also, No meets really going. Just a fun hang out night at the omni.

 

If I can get off work Friday ill be there Thursday. look for the beater Mustang coupe. I got a room at The Omni Thurs - Sun morning.

 

sweet there will be a few of us from san antonio, on thursday for the road racing event and now we know what to do at night!!!!

Zturd and I will be making the trip down. It's a hike, but I guess we need to see how you Southern boys do it.

Dumb *** question, but what is the weather generally like in mid March for you guys? Up here in PA it's still cold as **** and we can get hit with snow/ice up till April.

I'll be down in my whip, just to spectate, maybe some quick trips to Mexico

 

it changes minute to minute. one year it was cold as f@#k the next it was very comfortable. you can never guess what the weather is gunna be like that far ahead

 

understandable, last week it was 50*, felt like a heat wave. This week, it has been highs in the 20's. Sucks...

 

Last year it was mid 80's during the day, warm and humid at night. Was in a T-shirt the whole time.

 

spring break weather is usually nice when it doesn't rain.

NICE!!! I'm looking foward to some warmer weather and seeing something different. A group of us usually do the Ocean City MD cruise every spring, but the past 2 years it's been a parking lot of cars and TONS of cops
