Climbed up the landing gear on it's previous stop, and being a cold blooded animal moved up to the engine because it was hot and stayed there. Then at about 4 thousand feet he was probably thinking WTF is this cold ****?! Then eventually as the plane ascended either died from lack of oxygen or from the cold since again it's a cold blooded animal and was stuck there under the flaps.

Verdad Gallardo From what I read it was curled up ontop of the flap/wing up against the engine cowling and became wedged between the flap and cowling on takeoff.. I work for Southwest as a ramper and can tell you that planes aren't on the ground long enough for a snake to crawl up that point, unless it was the 1st flight of the day for that A/C. Either way it's an odd thing to see
