I don't really hide mine in my truck... nobody shouldn't be in there when im not anyway and if im not in it its probably on me. I mean... I don't just throw it up on the dash either if that's what your asking.

In Texas you can carry in your vehicle legally and do not have to have a concealed handgun license, The handgun must be kept concealed in the vehicle but can be loaded and at arms reach,,,u just cant have it laying on the seat or on the dash or let others see it as this would be threatening to them says the law. You do NOT have to tell law enforcement that you have it in there unless they ask you first....where as if you have a CHL you must give them your CHL license immediately when pulled over.

I saw online a pic of a holster that clips under your steering collum. I think that would be cool.

You don't have to tell them but it's a good idea. They will run your license and it will register as a CHL holder. They will then come back wondering why you weren't honest with them.

I like to keep mine in the pocket of the door. That way if someone tries to force me out of the truck, it's easy to grab it on the way out without them seeing me do it.

In my truck it sits behind the passenger seat, it's somewhat a hinder to get too if it were an emergency although I am ducked down out of the line of fire. I can however, grab it and come up firing if its warranted.

I like that, do they make a holster for that?

Aaaaand you would be arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon with a holster like that with the gun out in the open.

Might as well just wave it out the window when getting pulled over.

I usually put it in the crack between the upper and lower portions of the jump seat. Holds tight and easily to get to. In my wife's car I usually have my pocket carry with me.

^^With the holster on the tunnel, if you put it on your side where your leg would conceal it, it should be legal, but as is it is not concealed. You could just throw a rag over it in case of traffic stops
