Default Detail: 50th Anniversary Corvette

Regular of mine who has a few cars in his stable, all of which I care for. This one has been on the back burner for a while now and I haven't seen the car in a good, 1-2 years. Anyways, they are looking to sell it and wanted to get the best finish on the car.

Exterior:
  • Wash w/CG Citrus wash to cleanse the finish
  • Speedy Prep towel fine
  • Wheels/barrels - CG Diablo Wheel Gel 5:1 w/Daytona Brushes
  • Wheel wells and rubber were hit with APC 5:1 & various brushes
  • Tires dressed with Show Room FX White Pearl
  • CarPro Eraser
  • Wells treated with CG Bare Bones
  • M101 Meguiars MF Cutting Disc (hood and deck lid)
  • D300 w/ a dot of M105 Meguiars MF Cutting Disc (All panels)
  • Po85rd w/ LC Black Foam (all panels)
  • Opticoat
Interior:
  • All surfaces cleaned/treated with Meguiars QID
  • Leather cleaned w/ Meguiars Leather Cleaner
  • Leather conditioned w/Meguiars Leather Conditioner
  • Meguiars perfect clarity glass cleaner

Didn't have a chance to take any pics outside as it was raining non stop.

Hope you enjoy.

Questions/Comments always welcome!

Leather looks great!

I saw what you used, but can you give any tips/techniques on getting the job done? I've got the ebony leather in my car, so it's hard to see the dirt and grime like in the lighter color leathers, but I can bet they are overdue for a good cleaning.

I used a horse hair upholstery brush, let the cleaner dwell a minute, agitate in all directions, wipe clean with a damn MF, then condition. Repeat as necessary.
