Yep, went 8.94 at 170. They added 5more lbs of boost in 2-6 gear, but the clutches kept getting too hot.

The T1 GTR is owned by Trust on this forum.

Yea they hit but just popped a tire. Nothing bad. When you try to put that much power to a street tire it's hard to keep the car straight. I give major props to those guys as they basically rebuilt the whole rear and suspension to make the event Saturday. I'm sure they will get it home and sorted out for next year.

Watch the video link above your reply. The guy was just peeling out non-stop, and the rear looked like it wanted to go crooked the whole time. When you don't lift, the result is hitting a wall. Chalk that one down to driver error.

Agreed^ he was out of the groove to begin with and spun to the 330. Should have let out long before that, but everyone makes mistakes. Hopefully it didn't mess up the car too bad.

I helped him with some others push the car off the wall Wednesday night when he hit it on the access road. I was surprised to see he had it up and running just a day or two later.

I did watch the video and I agree he should have lifted but I wasn't the driver. That track sucks anyway especially letting people run on street tires.

Also from what I hear tech cards cost $80 and $20 to get in so for $100.00 ... That track prep should have been the best track in the world to run on... From what I was told it was complete ****!! How many car raced x $100 there is no reason why it should have been that bad.

Sorry for the rant! I wasn't even at the track... I don't know why it makes me mad, I just don't understand how track knowing they are going to have a giant turn out do so little to prep the track for such high HP cars.

$100 is not expensive for such a big event. 2nd, AWD cars rip the prep up off any track, as do street tires.

I agree with Tony, complete driver error.
