The Mile starts tomorrow morning and all the **** talking and speculation will be put to rest. No doubt KP has the power to go that fast, but whether they have luck going their way (which you need a little of when racing at this level) will be the ultimate decider. Stuff breaks and track conditions can spoil a good run. It would be nice to see an LS-powered vehicle take the title back. I wish Joe and Kelly luck.

Spoke with Joe and they have the aero package totally redone on Kelly's Camaro. Trick splitter up front, flat bottom underneath and a custom diffuser in the rear. If there's any problem now it's too much downforce in the front. Guess they can always dial that back. It's better to have too much downforce than not enough.

Weather is crappy today.. did Bise run yet? The GT went 261.2 so far. Last time, these guys had a 20mph tailwind and 50 degree air. Sunday will be the best day because of the cold front coming through.
