Went 210.9 in the Convertable 2012 Camaro this morning. That's the Mile record for a 5th gen.

Default Bise Camaro

The Bise Camaro wrecked last evening around 5:45 pm.Track was closed and as I was leaving the track noted that the Bise Camaro was being readied for a pass. Stopped my car and got out to watch. Car launched OK but had a slow time at one-half mile and then it was obvious that the car wrecked as you could huge clouds of dirt from the start line. Did not stay to see the amount of damage or if the driver was hurt.

From what we were told last night, the splitter came off and he ran it over.. which unsettled the car. It rolled/flipped 8 times and caught on fire after Joe got out. I've also heard that the engine let go and oiled the tires. Not sure what actually happened.

Sorry to hear he had a wreck, but happy to hear he was able to walk away from it relatively unhurt.

Man, that is terrible. I'm glad to hear that Joe is ok...from the looks of the pic, there were some angels around him for sure.

It's not totally clear what happened just yet. The splitter ripped off during the crash.

It was nice and cool today with a tailwind. Some cars prepped by Fuel Injection Specialties got their best traps of the weekend...

"SICKZ06" red C6 Z06, hit 206.2, 170.x half-track
"QWK06" white C6 Z06, did 186.x iirc
#172, TT C5 Z06 which lost its hood and destroyed a windshield Friday, hit 216.3, 178.4 half-track
#430, orange S/C Challenger did 204.x

Some stuff I got with my camera:
