Can we please lose the three fake vents in the rear 1/4 panels yet?

Also, HIDs should at least be an option on the Z28. I hate the way standard headlights look.

Really liking the wider cowl section of the hood.

The tail lights remind me of a caprice though.

I like the changes but the taillights I'm not digging; maybe if they had them recessed without wrapping around the body it might look better.

Quick edit to see what the black grill would look like.

Pretty cool GM is doing stuff like this, 5th gens never really grew on me. Nice cars but even for the money that will cost I would still rather pick up a used C6 Z or GT500.

I will have this car someday. It's definately the nicest 5th gen to date, but did anyone else notice it looks like they took Acura Integra tail lights and stuck them on the rear?

How do you guys think this will actually compare with the ZL1? It's 300lbs lighter but has less hp. Also, what's with the 500hp rating? What happened to the extra 5hp the Z06 has? Lol.

Honestly I suspect it will be close in the quarter, but definitely faster around a track. GM I believe has already hinted that it will be 3 seconds faster, not sure what road course they tested on though. ZL1 is no slouch around the track, has some pretty stinking fast times around VIR, faster than anything Ford brought...and even the C6Z06.

Linky, check 8th entry

I have to say those wheels are some of the baddest production wheels I've ever seen. GM is really getting on the ball, their new designs: C7, Z28, SS, CTS and ATS are all winners in my book. Good design and variety, performance and improved interiors.

I should start a company making replacement air splitters. As big as that one is, it'll be getting beat to hell and torn off by parking blocks, inclines, and road hazards.

Car doesn't look bad though. Kind of suprised they're not putting the new LTjuan in it.
