I saw plenty of street racing videos and track videos back then. What were you making? About 450rwhp, running high 11's? There weren't as many street racing videos, because it wasn't as easy to film/convert/upload, etc.

There's no need for anyone to be a douche because a few "peasants" were out having some fun in their cars with a camera on a Saturday night.

Next up:
People in to photography shouldn't bother publishing any of their shots unless they have the latest $5k DSLR with the best collection of performance lenses.

For the record, I watched the first race of the video. That's it.

Watch entire video, then report back. Your eyes will bleed, and you'll be searching for the fast-forward button. 11 minutes long....

I guess since Im stuck at work, the video didn't seem that long. Once again, I enjoyed the LS based vehicles in the video. And Tony, if you have any left over/spare parts laying around, Ill take them off your hands. Since my 450 rwhp 11.3 car is slow. : (

Maybe I just don't have interest in street racing like I used to. I was bored after the first race. Or maybe I have just seen too many racing videos posted on the internet which begin with a gay rap song or some Nickelbackish band followed by various exhaust noises and wind noise from tards who do not roll up their windows ending with the same gay song with text that reads "Filmed in Mexico" (real f'ing original).

Kind of boring to watch online whether it's 12 second cars or 9 second cars.

That's my rant for the day, I suppose.

IMO going from a dig takes more skill regardless of transmission than roll racing

but either way who am I to say anything.... my car is not a 1000hp, so I shouldn't say anything

At these power levels, you still have to maintain traction at 60+ mph, on drag radials. So, it does take a little driving skill. Driving an automatic, period, takes no skill. Unless you are going 8s in the 1/4 perhaps.

Thurik should just buy Joel's Viper and drag the f-ck out of all of us.
