Default Pergo/laminate floor install?

Anyone know someone that doesnt charge an arm/leg? The install cost is more than the materials

Same here. After getting a quote from Home Depot, Lowes and one small shop, I went a head and bought a pallett of laminate, pad etc. and did the whole downstairs a few years ago. Also did all upstairs bedrooms a couple of years later after getting tired of seeing the extra boxes of laminate in the garage.

I've never been good or even really interested in renovation/remodeling/construction stuff, but even for me the job wasn't bad at all.

I do get why OP might not want to do it himself, though, as the installation does require a healthy dose of time and patience.

And no, I don't have any suggestions as to who to use. Sorry.

for this reason, my floor remains concrete...we began tearing up the old linoleum thinking we were gonna get someone in here to install ceramic tile...nope....cost too much...i have been looking into staining the concrete though...

Should be fairly straightforward, i just redid my floor last year but i opted for the vinyl plank flooring because of my dogs. For anyone who is wondering about that stuff, i would highly recommend it!

how much are they charging you a ft and how many ft do you need laid? to bad your not in dallas if not I would have gave you a good deal

1.99 sqft installed is a good price if the laminate is of a good quality

Do it Yourself. Biggest pain I found is going around door moldings if you can take them off and it will come out alot better
