I was there friday-sunday. What an awesome track and facility. I love the V8 Supercars, I follow them on TV.

My wife got the privilege of being the flag girl for team Scion Racing for the GT/GTS race. Very cool and fun experience for her.

was there also a GT race? whats with the Porsche's mustangs ect.

World Challenge also ran over the weekend at COTA with the V8's. Plus a Porsche series too. We were the number 17 Mustang running in GTS. P6 Saturday and P5 Sunday.

Every team has to have a flag girl on the track. WC will penalize you if you don't. Our routine is for one of the single guys on the team go out and "recruit" a local girl at each race.

lol that's exactly what Scion did to my wife. It's an awesome way to get a fan involved vs hiring a model. They gave us free hats, shirts and water (greatly needed that this weekend). We were able to hangout in their tent (out of the sun) and learn about the team and the car and meet the driver and crew.

Also I meet Alec, great kid and a fast driver. I will be stopping by your shop hopefully this week to talk with y'all about a few things. I had no idea your shop/team was right in my back yard.

It was an awesome experience and the facility is so damn cool! I hope there is opportunity to run this track in an open track day or HDPE event.

I know..wishful thinking...but still!!!

They have already hosted track days before but no HPDE events. Was told by a neighbor who ran it that they only allow "advanced" drivers on the course and that the damage fines cost out the ***.
